For "Grown Man" we walked up to the projectionists' catwalk. Jessica surveyed her surroundings while her dress scraped the grate floor below. It was short and sweet and I hope it was a nice break for Jeff Tobias (We vs the Shark) who was hard at work below.

We first heard about Jessica when we saw her in a live video made by our good friend Tim Nackashi. It featured her and the Avett Brothers playing in their bus. It was only fitting that we met on similar terms. Jessica wanted to get out of the blazing sun for a bit, so we retreated to the art-laden lobby of our local art house cinema, Cine'. As we packed up she asked us if the 40 Watt (club) was strict on IDs. Hard to imagine such a soulful voice (and lyrics) coming from a girl who's not old enough to legally drink.
