Near the end of the shoot, as well as the end of the day, one of the guys suggested they jump into the river and play the Soundie soaking wet. Brilliant. Losing light fast, we shot them on the edge of the dock. You can hear the banter of other runners, canoers, and general "water sporters" winding down their day.

We met the band at Ladybird Lake in Austin and spent a lot of time trying to decide whether we wanted them to play in the canoe or not. We decided yes. We'd just arrived at SXSW and wanted to get the week off to a strong start.
