We realized we have a strange and mysterious connection to Philly, PA bands. This was the third artist we've worked with from Philly in the last year and next week's SOUNDIE will make it four. Mercer from the Secret Squirrel told us these guys would be in town and put us in contact with them. We had planned on hanging around the Squirell, but Chris & Andrew had their eye on the abandoned Nuwaubian temple. We'd recommended this spot for several bands before, but it never worked out and I'm glad it didn't because it was perfect for these guys.

This is the first band we've worked with that had previously done Take Away Shows, so of course we had to ask what Vincent Moon was like. For the second song we tried to get the guys to go on the roof of the temple, but considering the gaping hole in it, I understand why they decided to walk through an old Athens neighborhood instead.
